Testimonials

“Chloe Smart was very helpful in resolving a lot of queries quickly and keeping things moving to achieve the tight completion date I wanted. ”
Joe Hastie
“Chloe Smart and her team have just completed a house sale and purchase for us. This was protracted and complicated as they were de-linked and subject to a long-stop date. We had the best experience with any solicitor in over 30 years and it is so difficult to find quality. This was because of the continuously responsive communications and the precise and whole advice at every stage. Responses to the purchaser and vendor were equally professionally handled and these things meant that we were able to achieve timescales that would not otherwise have been possible. The whole process gave us maximum confidence and for that we are very grateful and we are left with the upmost respect for Chloe and the RotheraSharp practice in general. If only all firms could achieve these results! Thanks, ”

Easements: when could an interference arise with my ability to exercise a right of way?

The recent case of Vance & Vance v Collerton & Collerton has illustrated that if it is not unreasonable to insist on the continued luxury of a widely granted right of way, an actionable interference will occur even if the person benefiting from the right is left with reasonable access.
