Lucy Dixon is a Paralegal in Rotheras’ Conveyancing department and is based at our Beeston branch.
Approach
Lucy assists Emily Weston and helps to advise clients on all parts of the conveyancing process, such as sales, purchases, transfer, re-mortgages, liaising with mortgage lenders, estate agents and solicitors. She also deals with pre and post-completion matters, including stamp duty and land registry applications.
Lucy is extremely client focused and is dedicated to working in the client’s best interests. Lucy demonstrates precise attention to detail, is very process driven, and understands the importance of using IT to make systems more efficient and organised.
Career Highlights
- Lucy has previously worked in events in London for 2 years and worked in hospitality for 7 years where she travelled around the world. She has lived in France and New Zealand and managed hotels, a ski company and worked at Disneyland Paris
- Between 2009 and 2016 Lucy worked in financial services in several business development roles including account director and business development manager across the whole range of financial projects, especially insurance, lending and debt
- Lucy worked in the in-house legal team at The Woodland Trust for almost 3 years, working in both commercial and property matters, managing her own caseload and providing general support to other solicitors and the team including assisting with a range of commercial property transactions
