First I’ll explain a little bit about our firm and my role as talent and resourcing partner. Rotheras has been in practice for over 250 years but I’m not going to focus on the past, it’s merely a number to demonstrate our longevity in the market. Where we are today and where we are going is what matters and right now we’re in a time of evolution and growth. We have an exciting vision of where we want to be and we need people at all levels with enthusiasm to help us work towards that. My experience, specialities and how I can help you:

  • 22 years as a lawyer with experience of working for several law firms. I have been a partner for the last 5 years. Over the course of my career I have developed a solid understanding of the mechanics behind a successful and rewarding environment and that’s the basis of my role as talent and resourcing partner.
  • I’m involved in the sourcing and direct hiring of fee-earners ranging from trainees through to partners so get in touch if you like the sound of how we work – we will always consider CV’s if your ethos and goals are aligned with our plans
  • I’m passionate about ensuring we help our staff grow their individual strengths and take their careers in a direction they desire– this isn’t about trying to fit square pegs into round holes, it’s about nurturing talent and providing the tools to grow, whether its education, training, mentoring or simply being left to get on with what you do best.
  • I’m focused on future-proofing the Firm as well as meeting our day-to day resourcing needs and I work closely with HR and our Head of Marketing & Business Development to deliver our recruitment strategy.
  • Qualified, accredited civil and commercial mediator and also carries out regular legal advice sessions through her continuing work with advice centres in the local community, having formed a relationship with the Rushcliffe Advice network several years ago.
